The Duchy of Bonalba has strong ties to Tamplonia -- a close neighbor, as Bonalba is the westernmost land in Delona. Bonalba relies upon its friendship with Tamplonia as protection against Castagna and Iñarra, both of whom have owned the island chain in the past.

During the Yamamotoan invasion of Delona, Bonalba hoped that its distance from the war front would let it remain safely neutral. As a result, it was the only Delonan land to neither send troops or supplies to the war front. Since the war's end, this has made relations with other Delonan lands somewhat cold.
