CG 114: "Le Petit Mort"

The priestesses of the Temple of St. Gypsy-Rose invite you to join us in celebration on Aliane, our temple’s holiest day. Celebrate the bountiful gifts of the goddess during an afternoon of revelry and song.

Let your cares melt away under the practiced use of “Le Petit Mort”, a skill developed at this temple which we believe, with your help, will catch on at other Alian temples throughout the land.

Come Celebrate!

Signed,
Abbess Viola

Continuing Game 114: "Le Petit Mort" is an afternoon-long game that will be held on February 20, 2010, at the Wesleyan University Campus.

The game will cost $10, but is free for first-time participants. Current players who recruit new players will receive a 5 mark reward per recruit.

Check-in will be in the Butterfields, COL Room 210 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. Players who arrive after 1:00pm that have not made prior arrangements will be subject to in-game penalties. Game is anticipated to end at 6:30 p.m.

The game will feature snacks and drinks. If you have dietary restrictions, or would like more information, please email GM Joseph Melendez (cg114). You must be 18 years or older to participate in this (or any) Quest event.

Reward for Information Relating to the Disappearance of my brother, Viktor

My name is Yelena, and I am searching for any sign of my brother Viktor. He was last seen heading towards the temple of St. Gypsy-Rose. When he did not return home a month ago, my father permitted me to follow his trail. The trail grew cold about fifteen miles to the east of the temple, where an older man told me in hushed tones that he'd seen my brother heading on towards the temple about six weeks before. When I arrived at the temple, I was told by the abbess that no one had seen my brother, and that it was possible that bandits or some beast had carried him off.

Please, if you have any information at all as to the whereabouts of my brother, I will gladly pay you for the information.

In hope,
Yelena

After receiving a number of inquiries about what this game might be about, we realized that the first teaser, while interesting, wasn't painting an accurate enough picture of what this game might entail. The game will certainly feature ribald humor, double entendres, and hopefully, a lot of fun, but the game is plotted, and we do expect to have some problem-solving encounters, some combat, and maybe even a bit of mystery. We didn't want to blindside people, so we hope this gives you a better idea of the kind of character you may wish to bring to the game. We hope to see you there!
