“An Enchanted Vintage”
Continuing Game 127

While you are stopping in at a local tavern for the night, a smiling, stumbling, less than sober priest of Dorial thrusts the following note into your hand before promptly falling over drunk.

Honored Friend,

(There is an obvious space here where your name should be written in. Yours appears to have been filled in with "DRUNK", but it’s hard to tell because it seems to have been written upside down. And possibly in Sturian.)

Please join us for the grand opening of the Mystic Grape, the new physical and spiritual home of the Dorialite Order of the Gilded Vine. Ever since the accident, the ruins of the Northfellow mage tower have lain strewn across the road to the north, providing nothing but a sad reminder of a bygone tragedy. But no more. The Order of the Gilded Vine has acquired the remnants of the tower, and we have built a place of merriment where before there was only sorrow. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we will be hosting a night of wine and revelry in honor of the Lord of the Vine, and Brother Simon will be unveiling his new vintage at the end of the night. Drinks are on the house. We hope that you will be able to attend.

The Mystic Grape is not far from where you are traveling, and if the priests of the god of wine and revelry cannot throw a good party, you’re not sure who can. You're somewhat concerned about any unstable arcane energies that might be lingering after any "accident" that destroyed a mage tower, but surely nothing too strange can happen, right? Besides, why turn down free drinks?
