“Dream Catcher”
Continuing Game 137

Yesterday, you were going about your usual business. Maybe you were on the battle lines of the Crusade. Maybe you were on the road, traveling. Perhaps you were simply at home, following your everyday routine. Regardless, you went to sleep in your tent, your inn, or your own bed, looking forward to the next day.

You woke up somewhere else.

And you are not alone.

When?

October 11, 2014. Check-in will run from 5:00pm to 6:00pm; new players or players creating new characters should arrive at 5:00pm to complete their characters and attend orientation. The game is expected to end by 11:00pm.

Where?

Check-in will be held in Woodhead Lounge in Exley Science Center on the Wesleyan campus in Middletown, CT.

How much?

$15, but is free for first-time players or for anyone who brings along a first-time player. Players who RSVP by September 27 receive a $5 discount.

Game style?

The game will feature a combination of combat and problem-solving, with opportunities for characters with a wide variety of skills and interests to use their talents to good effect. This is a potentially deadly game.

RSVP

Please RSVP via email to cg137 by September 27.

“Dream Catcher” is an evening-long LARP event, set in the world of the Continuing Game.

Players interested in attending the game are asked to RSVP with the character they intend to play by September 27th by contacting the GMs at cg137, so that the GMs will be able to incorporate special plotting for the characters they bring. Players who do not RSVP in advance of September 27th will still be allowed to attend, but will not have as rich and personalized a game experience as those who provide the GMs with character details.

This game will feature snacks and drinks, but not a full meal. It is suggested that players eat lunch before the event.

For more information or to RSVP, please contact GMs Jackie Axnderson and Dxavid Meierfrankenfeld at cg137. You must be 16 years or older to participate in this (or any) Quest event; players younger than 18 must present a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
